Lara is the best entertaining batsman of the modern age, he’s there at the top. As for Barbados on Pakistan’s next tour maybe in two years. I will be old by then!

Sri Lanka also had senior players resting in that event you are referring to and I wanted to give opportunities to younger players so please give credit to me for trying to look for new and talented players rather than come after me. As for captaincy this was a personal decision, nothing to do with an insult against Pakistan. I love my country and I have given a lot of commitment to Pakistan team. I have also not signed for ICL to play for Habib Bank and Pakistan.

Yes why not, as I have taken a few wickets in county cricket but we are not short of spinners in the Pakistan team.

Yes I do fast during a match. Bob Woolmer didn't used to like it and was worried when I lost 5 or 6kg after fasting but Bob never had to tell me off because I always played well during fasting.

Younis, I am your fan in U.S.A., a pukhtoon from Peshawar. You should have taken the captaincy as we all thought that you were the best captain available. But I also agree with you that we Pakistani fans don't treat our players well once you guys lose and also our cricket board, as usual, puts all the blame on the players. I want to thank you for being such a selfless performer for our country, this makes me feel more proud as a Pukhtoon.
