I am backing Makhaya to come good
Things are looking positive for us thanks to our fast bowlers and then Ashwell Prince and AB de Villiers, but you can never get too far head of yourself. Strange things happen at Headingley and the game changes quickly, so you can't get complacent.

We've made a habit of starting badly
We do seem to make a habit of performing badly in the first Test match of series and this is another one of those times. We need to catch up with England quickly.

Eng-SA series will have Ashes intensity
It's a very exciting time building up to Lord's. I'm sure it's going to be a great, competitive series with big crowds and plenty of entertainment. It's going to be a good test for all of us with the huge media and public interest.

The England tour is upon us and I’m pleased to say that my fitness is getting there after my hamstring injury. I started running two or three days ago, which is a big stride to have made.

Senior players need to be rested for India
I was over the moon when I sold for $475,000 at the IPL player auction. I didn’t really watch it on TV - it was our coach (Mickey Arthur) who called me to say I was heading to Jaipur.
